Well, almost a year and a half later the indictments have finally come down. To you who steadfastly believe in the "genuine goodness" of Martha Stewart -- get over it. She didn't get where she is by being good -- she got there by being smart. Remember, everyone has lied before in their lifetime, and Ms. Martha is no exception. In fact, by the sheer virtue of her being a multimillionaire whose continued worth depends solely on her reputation, I'd say the liklihood of her lying is about 1000%. You may color me a cynic, but in this case, I'd color me a realist.
Give the indictment a read -- it's mighty interesting. It's also mighty long (41 pages), but it's a fairly fast read (via The Smoking Gun). If you read it, I'd be really interested in hearing your thoughts!
It's about time "Sweet Martha" got hers... I don't believe in cheaters winning, and liars need to be brought to account for their wrongs.

Ahh, the classic story of smarts meets greed.
