Latest Report from the Roller Coaster

So how was your holiday weekend? Was the weather nice where you are?

My 3-day weekend was .... memorable. Saturday began with my sister coming home from the hospital. YAY! That part was really good! She's feeling much better and is beginning to eat "real" food, albeit slowly. I'm still mad at her son, though. The house was a disaster when she got home. He hadn't cleaned it up one bit. Plus when she asked him to stick around until her boyfriend returned with the groceries (bless his heart for shopping), all he did was sit there and complain that it was taking him too long, and he'd better hurry up because he had plans. UGH! I was over there because my sis wanted me to help her re-dress her incision after her shower. I couldn't believe that my nephew hadn't even planned to stay home and help his mother her first day home from the hospital! GRRRR!!!

Thoughts from others

What a roller coaster of a time you're having! First of all, I'm so glad your sister is home and on her way to recovering! You, your friend Corinne and her family are in my prayers. I'm so sorry for the loss.

I hope this week brings you much happiness, many smiles, and an abundance of peace. *hugs*

Life CAN be tragic enough without any help at all. And when someone deliberately (albeit an illness in my mind)inflicts pain and suffering, usually it effects more than just the individual. I feel for the family, wife, children, parents and friends...of which you are definately a dear one!
