Wow, is it Friday already? This week went pretty fast. I guess it's because of all the stuff that's been happening.

Sister Update: Spent a good deal of the afternoon with her, and she is doing really well. They finally took her off the oxygen for good this morning; yesterday they removed the GI tube, catheter and epidural. Now all she's hooked to is an IV.

She'll probably kill me for telling you this, but I simply must! She was telling me that the Doc informed her today that she won't be able to go home until she can eat soft, bland food, keep it down, move her bowels and either belch or pass gas (not necessarily in that order *wink*). So I'm sittin' here late this afternoon and my cell phone begins serenading me, so I picked it up and looked at the caller ID and saw it was her calling from the hospital. When I answered she said "Hi", and there was a level of excitement in her voice. Then she said, "Guess what!", and I said, "What?", to which she replied, "I pooped! I pooped!". ROFL! I offered my heartfelt and equally excited Congratulations, then had to hang up because she said she had to call the rest of the family. LOL!! So, like the bumper sticker says, "Shit Happens" -- and sometimes even when you want it to! LOL

I normally don't get to excited over the issues of poop...but today...woo-hoo! *lol* Glad to hear she is doing so good.
