A Rose By Any Other Name Is Still .... In Need

I was doing some reading a while ago and found myself (as I always do *g*) at FallenSpirits. I was reading LillyAnne's newest post and was suddenly blown away at the mention of Zander and the opinion of an ever-increasing number of people that he is ...... not what he portrayed himself to be. I followed this link and did some additional reading, as this was the first I had heard about any of this and wanted more information if I could get it. Now, I am not posting these links in order to perpetuate gossip or blog drama; I offer them solely for those of you who are regular readers of his and would like to read for yourself and form your own opinion. If you do, indeed, decide to do so, please also read the comments to the latter-mentioned post -- they are very informative, as well.

As for what I think? Well, regardless of what the truth is, he remains a young man in need of prayer -- perhaps not for what we originally believed, but in need, nonetheless, and mine will continue to be with him.

Thoughts from others

Yeah I been reading about this, I didn't follow/read his blog, but it makes me sad that it might not be true. The net is full of people trying to deceive you and I guess we have to sort through some of them to get to the genuine people.

I find myself cynical about things like this because of a woman who pretended to have a daughter with cancer. She even kept a seperate blog for the "daughter."

But in this case, I find it's rather deplorable that people would start this kind of stuff while the guy's not even around to defend himself. Whether he's real or not, no one deserves that. And you're right, Leigh. He is in need, no matter what.

thanks for the link, leigh. i saw that at lillyanne's too and wondered. i read and commented to zander for a long time. his story broke my heart. truthfully, i'm not sure now that i want to know if his story is true or not because i'm tired. why would someone do something like that? if he did?

anyway- thinking of you and your sister and i will be all week. keep us posted when you get a chance!
