Newsflash (or should I say Nameflash??)

Remember when I reserved the right to change my mind with regard to the puppy's name? Yeah, I know myself well enough to know that that was the thing to do. lol Soooo ... his name has now become Riley instead of Bogart, because he is SO much a Riley! It fits his personality much better. :)

He's such a cutie! I've been having a lot of fun bonding with him. Hubby was strictly warned NOT to bond with him until I did, because all the animals seem to love him best. lol He says it's because he's the Alpha Male and they all know it. LOL So anyway, he now has free access to him because Riley and I have totally fallen in love. :)

He's such a good boy! Here he is, only 8 weeks old and having been here only 3 days, and he's already getting the hang of waiting to go outside to do his business; but when he doesn't, he always uses the newspapers we've set down. He thinks the tennis ball we gave him (which is WAY huge for his tiny mouth) is the bomb, and totally loves to tackle his stuffed puppy (which is the same size as he). He follows us everywhere we go, and usually ends up running too fast on the linoleum floor in the kitchen and wipes out when taking a corner. LOL It's so cute!!! :)

Anyway, that's what I've been doing the last couple of days -- falling in puppy love. ;)

Hope you've all had a great Monday! And thanks to everyone for all your great comments about Riley! I appreciate your time and love! :)

I like the name Riley too... but mainly, it's cool that you like it. That Riley likes you shows good puppy taste.

isn't funny how some animals kinda tell you what their name should be..*lol*

whatever his name, he's a cutie and I like him, and you! Your daughter is pretty, like her mom. Take care and be safe.

That sounds like pure bliss. You should bottle that and sell it. You'd make millions. ;)

I so want a puppy...

Ahhhh...."puppy love". I suppose it's a great feeling to recall that from those early school days! :)
