Where, Oh Where, Has MSS Gone?

Omg, I don't remember the last time I laughed this hard! *wiping tears* Wired News reports "Wacky Iraqi Minister a Web Star". And just who is the "Wacky Iraqi"? Why, it's Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf, of course! Iraq's (former)Minister of Information or, as Sgt. Stryker unaffectionately refers to him, "Skippy". Anyone who has followed the news of the war knows exactly who MSS is -- the man who could barely keep a straight face during his daily news briefings, and who kept us all dumbfounded with the audacity of his comments, quickly becoming what many would deem the "comic relief" of the war (if there could ever be such a thing).

So if you're in the mood for a good laugh, be sure to read that article! If you're short on time, you can bypass the story, but do not forego visiting the "We Love the Iraqi Information Minister" web site (linked to in the article) -- it's hysterical! It's tough to choose my favorite MSS quote, but I think I'd have to say it is this:

"I now inform you that you are too far from reality"

LMAO! I simply must buy a t-shirt with that on it!!!!

Thoughts from others

Wasn't he just HILARIOUS? I was listen to his news conferences talking about how the US forces weren't in Baghdad, with smoke billowing behind him and the sound of gunfire, and I would just laugh. I miss him :( He had some of the best quotes!! I remember seeing one on CNN where he said that we Americans were leaving like the dogs we are. LOLOLOL

I hope MSS finds a new job soon. ;p
