The current category is: Whispers
Such a temperal existence one lives inside the box and click;
A seemingly bottomless void in which to move,
But the darkness masks its shallow reality.
Eyes in search of feel-good saturation peer in crowded pairs,
Devouring all feasts of wit, humor and charm left upon the sacrificial screen,
But quickly glance and turn from a humble soul attempting articulation,
No less sincere or genuine,
But denied consumption by the masses for its
Perceived lack of value and stimulation,
Its genesis never given consideration,
The lines between the lines never read,
Reaching out with invisible hand and whispered words muffled by
Uncertainty in their humble offering,
Falling on deaf ear and blind eye,
And for a moment which sears like eternity,
Sinks unheard and unseen into the shallow nothingness,
Slipping silently into its hidden cavernous depths ....
Muted.
There is a sadness to be had in those moments when your soul shrinks back behind your eyes.
There's a coldness to be had, when the world turns suddenly sharp, and your courage seems to melt like old rain draining through your spirit.
And there's something better, too. There's a strength you can often find on the other side of these cold sad things...
Sometimes, you need to walk yourself into it, like a snake learning its new skin.
Sometimes you just have to wait for it, dreaming of dragons with each passing snakeskin.
But that's the trick, ain't it?
Hugs & blessings

Yeah, John, that's the trick. ;)
You're such a magnificent friend .... one who always, always knows how I feel, even without description or articulation. That ... is what true friendship is all about.
Thank you ... for everything.

silence is just as comfortable as spoken words in the company of real friends.
Hope you're feeling good today, my friend!
(((((hug))))) By the way...love the new look.
