Where Did Unity Go?

There is something so utterly and fundamentally wrong with this!

It breaks my heart, and makes me feel like the wonderful and awe-inspiring sense of unity we all shared merely 19 months ago meant nothing and has all but disappeared.

Again I pose the question -- what in the world does that kind of behavior have to do with wanting peace? It doesn't. It's just an excuse for some people to go out and raise hell and destroy.

Shame, shame on all of them.

Thoughts from others

it amazes me...how violent and self centered fearful people can be. --sigh--

I have to totally agree with ya on this one. It jsut angers me to see something as violent and stupid as that be protected under freedom of speech. When did freedom of speech become destruction of property. Not to mention its just disrespectful. Amazing how people that will never have to live in a mud house scared to look out the windows for fear that they or there family will be dragged away have an amazing ability to think "they know best". *sigh* Totally Sad is really the only nice word I can think of to what I read in that article.
