The current category is: Emotionally Speaking
It has begun. No more guessing; no more speculation. The war has begun.
Whether you are in agreement with this war or vehemently against it, it is now your choice to either support the men and women who have been sent there to fight it, or not. They did not choose to be there -- they were ordered as men and women of the armed forces, and they are fulfilling their duty. I'm sure each one of them, whether even they agree with this war or not, would tell you they are honored to be doing their duty for the country they love.
As you can see, I've made a button in support of our troops. It will remain there for the duration. They are over there doing their duty, and I believe it is our duty as Americans to support them. Never again will we, or should we, allow the kind of treatment thrust upon our Viet Nam Vets to ever happen again!
So, it's your choice. Choice? Hell, it's your obligation and you should be honored to do so!
For what it's worth, those are my thoughts.
*EDIT* I received an email from my sister with this link and this message:
If you are so inclined, visit and sign a brief message thanking the men and women of the U.S. military services for defending our freedom. The compiled list of names will be sent out to our soldiers at the end of the month. So far, there are over 6.8 million names! Pass the word so that we can honor and support the defenders of freedom.
I went to that web site and signed a thank you note -- it took all of 10 seconds. Just a little food for thought. :)
a time for prayer

They need our love, prayers and vigilence. Candles, Yellow Ribbons and prayers here... God Speed their return home safe and sound.
I do not agree with the actions of bush, but the men and women who are now in harms way, didn't make the decission.
