*Shaking My Head*

In doing some reading tonight, I found myself at anything but ordinary (as I always do *g*), and was immediately taken with an entry she made referencing an earlier entry which apparently created quite a stir -- and shouldn't have! She was simply stating HER opinion about the impending war on HER blog and was, for all intents and purposes, berated for her views within comments left by some of her readers. Poor M. Why do people have to do that? I mean, I know we are all very passionate about the war that will probably break out within the next 24 hours, but that is no reason to do what some of these people did. She was voicing her opinion, which she has every right to do in her space! I just sit here and shake my head at the thoughtless actions displayed by people sometimes. How can we ever expect people of the world to get along when we can't even be civil and open-minded with each other??

And just for the record, M., I totally understand what you were saying, and agree 100%!

Thoughts from others

Awwww... thank you Leigh. I appreciate that. Truly. I thought I would be able to get away with saying something we should all agree upon, but it didn't really work out that way. I should've figured.

Anyhow, thank you so much for your friendship. :)

I was saddened by all that but not surprised. The art of debate or even just civil conversation seems to be a lost one. It's unfortunate.
