Okay, I think this is as "Valentine's-y" as I'm going to get. Hey, at least it's red. ;)

Oy, what a day. One filled with both ups and downs; concern and relief; health and sickness. Just when my daughter is finally getting better, I start getting what's she's getting over! UGH! Like I really needed that right now.

My wonderful friend, Jen, will be going home from the hospital tomorrow morning. I've mentioned her before -- she had weight loss surgery (gastric bypass) just this past Monday. I got to talk to her on the phone today. :) She really sounded good!! I was very relieved that it has gone so well for her.

My poor mother has osteoperosis so bad. I think you could look at her too hard and it would crack one of her bones (that's how bad it is). Now, bless her heart, she has a cracked rib on top of everything else. *sigh* I don't understand why good people with wonderful hearts and spirits get crap shoveled on them continuously, but people who are selfish jackasses get everything they want. I know "fair" has nothing to do with real life, but c'mon ... the woman deserves a break already! *deeper sigh*

i hope the interviews go well and that you all can fidn someoen who will be good fo r your mom.
